It's been a very long time since I had a chance to spend the majority of an entire Saturday with my kiddos. Today, I'm doing just that! With the minor distraction of an oil change, this day is all about hangin at home with my family! Here's to shenanigans, snacks, and a lazy afternoon piled up in the floor to watch a movie! I can't wait!!
Bright and early, we got to work. Designing and building, and letting our imaginations run wild! Our efforts yielded a car, an airplane propellor, and a sword!
Just warming up.

For lunch, the minions voted for mac and cheese. Organic cheesy carbs, coming right up! (Daddy needed coffee by this time).
Avery Claire certainly approves!
Missed one...
Got it!
Ian spent the morning as a super hero! Half Batman, half Superman, all rowdy lil dude!
Mixing mac and cheese. He's super focused!
Finally, lunch for Daddy. Organic chicken pot pie soup. Perfect for a frigid (-2°) upstate New York day!
My amazing wife has been on the lookout for an aesthetically pleasing tea kettle for months. Her and I recently started drinking coffee, so we found ourselves in need of one for the first time.
She found this Chef Master today! Brushed stainless steel. Solid oak handles, simple latch lever, and it whistles when it's ready.
Some much deserved free time provided my girl an opportunity to pick up some new makeup.
Lashes!
She's taken. ;)
I spent very little time outdoors today. -2°! But these seemed peaceful standing in the snow.
I snapped one last frame before heading inside to thaw out.
